If you read our site (heydontjudgeme.com) then you know we take a strict NO SPOILERS stance. We don’t go beyond the episode aired, we don’t discuss what’s to come/what’s been leaked.
I just got a comment on a post that spoiled an upcoming new character, which hints at a problem with a current set of characters, and when I mentioned that was a SPOILER (and whited out their comment for other readers) was told the following:
“It’s not really a spoiler when it’s been out there for months that the role of this girl has been cast—”
LET ME STOP YOU RIGHT THERE. Casting news? THAT IS A SPOILER. New character names? SPOILER. Plot changes? FRIGGIN’ SPOILER.
Not everyone reads, follows the behind the scenes stuff. Some of us are focused SOLELY ON OUR SCREENS. Ahem.
Spoilers are OPT IN, not OPT OUT. The Game of Thrones recaps (in particular) are one of the FEW PLACES on the internet that are spoiler free both in the recap and discussion and in comments. You LITERALLY have the rest of the internet to talk about what you want. Our website is a place for happy fans to be excited about what we JUST SAW.
Remember: spoilers are OPT IN, not OPT OUT. It’s really easy. [/aggravated admin]
